Anashku is upcoming Kannada Thriller Web Series which is all set to hit the internet soon. One of the lead actress of the series Arpitha Shekar spoke with CinemaSaaga about her experience. Let’s here it out in her own words.
Q1) How did you make yourself to this project?
Since from my childhood I was very much interested in co-curricular activities, was participating actively in drama’s and dance competitions.
During school days I had received state level recognition for “Kawali” and “Drama” competition. That’s when I got interest about acting and started dreaming about being an actress.
During my degree days I got a chance to learn and act in Kalamandir, Mysore. It’s was a blessed moment for me and I’m proud to say that I was a part of Rangayana. Along with Rangayana, got modelling chance in Mysore. Once I moved to Bangalore, A friend of mine introduced me to Tiktok and I loved it and was actively started making Tiktok videos. Along with my IT job, I was looking for good opportunity in acting and was attending auditions and that’s when I got Anashku chance through one of the Tiktok page.
Q2) It’s your first Project for you as a lead actress. How are you feeling now as the release date is near?
Overall It was really great experience. I felt very happy after getting this call from the respected selectors and that moment rejoiced me because it was my first project and my first experience in front of camera and it was really a great one and this made me more responsible and this happened because of the team we had, at first butterflies ran in my stomach when I faced the camera but the Cinematographer and Directors created comfort zone and made sure it’s coming well. I still remember the nostalgic moment when we said the last pack up which still groves in my ears it was a happy pill working with Anaskhu team.
We had put so much effort for the series and now it’s getting released feeling so excited n praying for the success of the series n hoping it will give new opportunity to me as well as for the whole team.
Q3) As an actress what’s your next plans?
As an actress it’s my wish to grow in the industry hoping to get more better chances and work in big projects, Entertaining the audience is the best feel and yes I will work on it very well and try achieving it. Hoping best for this current project and future projects too.
Q4) Tell us more about your role in Anashku.
In Anaskhu my role is a lead Actress who is a typical Coorg girl leading simple life with her childhood memories. She is the combination of naughtiness and a girl in loneliness, I feel I’ve justified to my role. There is also an another lead actress who have done really a great job to her role.

Q5) What opportunities are you expecting in future from Anashku Project?
Anaskhu being a great project which gave me a very good experience and this made me understand how hard it is to act in front of camera. I hope that I will get good opportunity and make best of it and hoping for the project from the same team and same banner, I would be the same enthusiastic person to work with different teams and different banners to get the best.
